A Quad Helix is a custom-made appliance used to widen the upper arch and create space for crowded teeth, correct cross-bites, or discourage thumb-sucking.
It is attached to the molars and adjusted every 4–6 weeks until the desired expansion is achieved, then typically worn for an additional three months to stabilise the result.
